Head of Energy Sales (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Further develop energy sales: You will shape the strategic direction of our energy sales with a focus on product management, pricing and sustainable growth in the B2C and B2B business
  • Strengthen teams: You will provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the Product Management Energy B2C and B2B Sales teams and develop structures, processes and skills in a targeted manner
  • Managing price & product strategies: You develop and optimize strategies for existing and new customers, taking into account market opportunities, competition and regulatory framework conditions
  • Evaluate market developments: You will continuously analyze the energy market, regulatory changes and relevant case law and derive well-founded recommendations for action
  • Identify growth potential: You evaluate market, competitive and margin developments and develop new scaling and growth areas
  • Strengthen B2B sales: You are responsible for the strategic and operational development of our B2B business for electricity and gas with a focus on the housing industry
  • Strategic sparring partner: You will work closely with Customer Service, Business Intelligence and Marketing and advise divisional management and the Executive Board on market, risk and strategic issues
  • Shaping the AI roadmap: You develop an AI roadmap for sales, keep an eye on current AI developments and actively use them to further develop sales processes and strategies in a future-oriented manner

What you bring to the table

  • Industry experience: Several years of experience in energy sales, product management or pricing in the B2C and B2B environment as well as a very good understanding of the energy market and the regulatory and legal framework.
  • Leadership skills: Initial leadership experience and the ability to clearly manage, develop and align teams towards common goals.
  • Market analysis: Experience in evaluating market, competition and margin developments.
  • High level of AI competence: You have a sound understanding of current AI technologies and trends and are able to develop and utilize their potential for sales in a targeted manner.
  • Academic background: A degree in business administration or in the energy industry is desirable.
