In the water supply sector, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of pipes, pumping stations and waterworks.

• Responsibility for the operation, maintenance, inspection, servicing, modification and expansion of all fixed and mobile installations (buildings, warehouses, workshops, yards) on the premises of the pipe network operations center
• Assessment of network closures – including on the main pipeline network – as well as external construction measures in the vicinity of our pipe network systems
• Preparation, analysis and assessment of damage statistics in the pipe network and on the company premises with derivation of suitable measures
• Management of employees
• Deputizing for the network manager if necessary
• The position includes on-call duty

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in the field of structural or civil engineering, process engineering, energy management, environmental process engineering, supply engineering and / or technical building equipment with knowledge of job-relevant tasks
• Alternatively: Degree as a technician in environmental and process engineering, building services engineering, structural or civil engineering technician or certified water network manager with sound knowledge of
• Water supply in a large city and
• Knowledge of network construction for Berlin and
• Management of operational processes in the facilities sector with knowledge of job-related tasks and supplementary knowledge that allows you to catch up with the level of knowledge taught in a bachelor’s degree program
• Management experience
• Knowledge of the hydraulic interrelationships in the pipe network and the resulting interfaces with the plant area
• Knowledge of the maintenance / servicing of building technology (e.g. heating and sanitary systems, etc.) as well as fixed and mobile electrical systems and equipment and their test cycles
• Knowledge of technical regulations and legal / commercial requirements (e.g. DIN standards, DVGW worksheets, VOB, BGB, general terms and conditions, work contracts, etc.)
• Class B driving license
• Knowledge of various SAP modules, BIM and UBI
• Desirable: Knowledge of construction site safety according to RSA
