Employee (m/f/d) Sales Business Customers – Business Customer Care

The town of Bad Honnef, with a population of 26,000, is located east of the Rhine in the Cologne/Bonn metropolitan region and the Westerwald. As a municipal energy supply company with 130 dedicated employees, we supply up to 80,000 people in the region with electricity, gas and drinking water and offer innovative and energy-efficient energy services. Your tasks

  • You are the first point of contact (m/f/d) for the concerns of business customers (electricity, natural gas and energy services) via the communication channels: in person, by telephone and by e-mail.
  • You will be responsible for actively approaching customers to acquire, win back and retain business customers.
  • You will be responsible for the independent acquisition, calculation and preparation of quotations, as well as for concluding and processing orders for our business customers.
  • You will market our electricity products and energy services and implement other sales activities.
  • You will record and maintain customer master data and carry out all relevant back-office work.
  • You will actively monitor the market environment for legal changes, trends, competition, etc.
  • You prepare all sales-relevant data for monitoring.
  • You actively promote our networks and participate in promotional activities and events.
  • You support our portfolio management in the area of forecasting and procurement.

Your qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further training in the field of energy management.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of energy supply, particularly in the field of energy procurement and balancing group management and in the field of renewable energies, and are willing to undergo continuous further training.
  • You have a strong focus on customer and service orientation, coupled with a professional and self-confident demeanor.
  • You have a high sense of responsibility as well as an implementation-oriented and independent way of working. You have a talent for organization, creative and communicative skills, assertiveness and flexibility even in stressful situations.
  • You have good user knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
