Your tasks
- As an energy manager, you are the linchpin for our energy efficiency and resource optimization. In a dynamic environment between vineyards, cellar management and state-of-the-art bottling, you will identify potential savings, manage technical projects and ensure that we achieve our climate targets – from the vine to the bottle – in the
- Management systems: Establishing, maintaining and strategically developing our energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 .
- Monitoring & analysis: Continuous monitoring of energy consumption (electricity, gas, water) and identification of peak loads, particularly during the intensive seasonal phases (harvesting/fermentation cooling).
- Efficiency project management: Planning and implementation of technical measures to reduce operating costs
- Procurement & self-supply: Support with energy purchasing as well as evaluation and operation of self-supply concepts
- Compliance & subsidies: Ensuring compliance with legal requirements (EnfG, GEG, EDL-G) and applying for state subsidies (BAFA, KfW).
- Reporting & sensitization: Preparation of carbon footprints and coaching of colleagues in the cellar for a more conscious use of resources.
Your qualifications
- Education: Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering (energy technology, supply engineering, industrial engineering) or a qualification as a technician/master craftsman with relevant experience in energy management.
- Experience: Sound knowledge of energy consulting or technical building management, ideally in the manufacturing or food industry.
- Know-how: Confident handling of ISO 50001 and the current legal framework.
- Analytics & tools: “Doer mentality” with a love of numbers; proficient in MS Excel and common energy management software (EMS).
- Personality: As a communicative bridge builder, you bridge the gap between technology and practice: you translate complex issues in such a way that they become tangible for everyone – whether in the sales office or directly with the team With your enthusiasm for sustainability, you inspire stakeholders and turn our green goals into a joint project.
