• You will control and monitor the supply processes of the gas and water supply as well as other remotely connected systems via the network control system.
• You will ensure the security of supply in the gas and water network by identifying and limiting faults.
• You document supply interruptions, faults and deployments in the fault and outage management system.
• You will monitor planned and fault-related work in telecontrol-connected systems and telecontrol-related process interventions.
• During off-peak times, you will be responsible for accepting faults by telephone, processing and documenting services and supply faults.
• You will plan and coordinate water demand coverage for the urban areas of Solingen, Haan, Hilden and Langenfeld.
• You will create and maintain the VLS data model and integrate network and system components in accordance with the department’s specifications.

• You have completed training in the field of gas/water supply, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering and have an additional qualification as a master craftsman or technician.
• You have several years of professional experience in the field of public gas/water supply and are prepared to work in shifts.
• Your sound IT skills will help you to carry out your tasks – ideally you have already worked with CAD and you are familiar with control, telecontrol and I&C technology.
• You have strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills and you act independently and reliably.
• Your way of working is organized and structured, and you are also characterized by a high level of commitment, communication and teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure.
