The Asset Management & Technology department is responsible for the asset strategy along the life cycle according to ISO 55000 and makes overarching investment decisions. It manages the costs, risks and performance of the asset portfolios, develops maintenance strategies and supports the planning, construction and operation of the network. It also defines technical requirements, develops scalable technologies and long-term network solutions. The unit drives the digitalization of asset information and is responsible for real estate management, including easements and contracts.

Your tasks

  • You are responsible for the holistic asset management of our offshore grid connections and HVDC systems over the entire life cycle – from new construction and expansion to decommissioning
  • Building on this, you will develop, evaluate and document technical, regulatory and economic alternatives and derive well-founded strategic recommendations from them
  • With a view to the future, you will identify new technologies for offshore connection systems, DC interconnectors and multi-terminal systems and integrate these into the further development of our grid in a targeted manner
  • To ensure optimal system operation, you define KPIs for performance management over the entire life cycle and continuously develop them further
  • You will also be responsible for creating decision-ready documents and coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders

Your qualifications

  • You have a degree in electrical engineering or a comparable engineering discipline or an equivalent qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience in relevant areas such as asset management, offshore wind, offshore grid connections, HVDC technology or interconnectors
  • In addition, you have sound knowledge of (feasibility) studies, technical-financial optimization and project development and can confidently coordinate projects and stakeholders
  • Your very good German and English skills round off your profile
