We generate electricity, district heating and process steam in our combined heat and power plant, mainly using cogeneration. We have waste and heating boilers, steam turbines, heat pumps and gas engines at our disposal for this purpose.

Your tasks

  • In the control room, you will observe and monitor all of our systems: heat pumps, boilers, turbines, gas engines, the district heating system, hydroelectric power plant, cooling, auxiliary and decentralized generation systems.
  • You will operate our systems safely and independently and keep a clear head even in difficult situations.
  • You keep an eye on the emission limits and output limits of the generation plants at all times. In the event of faults, you act quickly: you receive reports, initiate initial measures and ensure that they are passed on to the relevant departments quickly.
  • You carefully document operating states and events and reliably support the team with administrative and organizational tasks.

Your qualifications

  • You have successfully completed technical vocational training, ideally as an electrician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician or plant mechanic.
  • A qualification as a power plant technician (IHK) is ideal.
  • Several years of experience in power plant operation and knowledge in the areas of electricity, gas and control power (primary and secondary) are desirable.
  • Shift work in a 3-shift system is no problem for you and you are comfortable with MS Office.
  • You are characterized by a sense of responsibility, decisiveness and an independent way of working, as well as the ability to work reliably in a team.
