Project Manager Heating Networks (m/f/d)

Stadtwerke Emden is actively driving forward the climate-neutral future of our city. To this end, we are designing sustainable, technically innovative solutions in the supply of heat and the expansion of heating networks. To strengthen our Technical Management department, we are looking for you as a Project Manager for Heating Networks, a key role in which you will actively drive forward the heating transition in Emden.
In this responsible position, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of challenging projects from the initial idea through to handover to technical operations.
Your tasks
- Network planning & technical conception
- Creation of hydraulic concepts incl. temperature strategies, pressure levels, storage integration
- Development of open-technology generator concepts & feed-in logics
- Implementation of digitalization measures (GIS, BIS, measurement & metering logic)
- Carrying out technical and regulatory risk analyses
- Approval & funding management
- Identification, application and coordination of all relevant approval procedures
- Preparation of complete funding applications (BEW modules 2-4, BAFA, KfW)
- Budget planning & profitability analyses (CAPEX/OPEX)
- Exchange with controlling, asset management and division management
- Planning, construction & commissioning of heating networks
- Review and approval of design and implementation plans
- Management of construction work incl. deadline, quality and cost control
- Interface coordination between networks, generation, house connections and I&C technology
- Organization of building inspections, pressure tests and functional checks
Your qualifications
- Completed scientific university degree (Master) in energy/supply engineering, environmental engineering or comparable
- Several years of experience in project management or project management of technical infrastructure projects (ideally heating networks)
- Sound knowledge of energy generation technologies and profitability calculations
- Experience in the planning and implementation of energy-efficient building concepts desirable
- Confident handling of MS Office, project management tools, ideally GIS/BIS
- Class B driving license
