Gas- und Wasserwerke Bous-Schwalbach GmbH, a municipal utility company based in Bous, provides the municipalities of Bous and Schwalbach with natural gas, drinking water and heat, and the municipality of Ensdorf with

• You will assume responsibility and contribute to strategic network planning, the development of renewal strategies and plan the associated investment funds,
• You will manage projects, provide support in planning, tendering and preparing the awarding and invoicing of construction, maintenance and servicing work on gas, water and heating supply systems and networks,
• You work closely with the management of the parent company and are responsible for the overall organization of the individual technical departments (planning and work preparation, surveying, electrical engineering, construction and installation of natural gas, water and heating networks)
• You will provide support in project management and schedule coordination with local authorities, other utility providers, authorities and institutions,
• You guarantee compliance with technical regulations and are jointly responsible for the preparation and implementation of internal/external audits (DVGW TSM and DIN EN ISO 9001).
• You support and work on regulatory and organizational tasks within our network company (network fee calculation, regulation management, etc.).
• You will be the contact person for customers, authorities, local authorities, planning offices and other energy supply companies/utilities in all matters relating to energy and water supply.
• You are responsible for special cross-divisional tasks in all technical areas.

• You must have a degree in supply engineering or similar or be a network engineer (gas/water/heat/district heating) and already have several years of practical work experience, at least in the gas and water network sector.
• You have in-depth knowledge of pipe network and plant operation and maintenance,
• Business management skills, a confident manner towards local authorities, committees, service providers and customers, good negotiating skills and assertiveness are a matter of course for you.
• Knowledge of certification, in particular DVGW TSM and DIN EN ISO 9001, is desirable. Knowledge of the relevant regulations and legal requirements is a matter of course.
• You are comfortable working with modern IT and MS Office applications.
• You are a team player and work on your own initiative, systematically and goal-oriented.
• Your written and spoken German is fluent and you are in possession of a driving license of at least class B (if necessary, later participation in the higher-level on-call duty).
