GP JOULE EPC GmbH & Co. KG plans and builds ground-mounted photovoltaic systems that are among the largest in Germany and set standards. EPC handles the technical project planning, procurement of components, construction and project management as well as commissioning of the system and offers the construction of cable routes and substations for customers.
For GP JOULE EPC GmbH & Co. KG we are looking for a full-time (40h) permanent position for our locations in Geislingen an der Steige or Hamburg (mobile working possible on a pro rata basis) at the earliest possible date: Management

• Joint management of the EPC business unit in compliance with corporate principles, objectives and legal requirements
• Responsibility for sales, sales strategy and marketing to open up and further develop national and international sales markets for large ground-mounted PV systems
• Establishment, management and further development of sales and marketing structures as well as the establishment and maintenance of strategic partnerships
• Responsibility for finance & controlling, including budget planning, preparation of business plans and regular reporting to shareholders and the holding company
• Responsibility for organizational development, in particular in close cooperation with the central shared services
• Assuming responsibility as an employer, including managing, promoting and developing employees in close cooperation with HR
• Continuous development, evaluation and implementation of new business ideas and business models in the EPC project business in collaboration with internal and external partners
• Ensuring a professional external image for the EPC business unit and representing it to customers, partners and other stakeholders

• In-depth management experience in a comparable position in the project business, ideally in the construction/EPC and/or renewable energy sector
• Proven experience in selling complex solutions that require explanation or in setting up and developing sales and marketing structures
• Very good understanding of commercial relationships, finance & controlling and budget responsibility, complemented by a technical background for negotiating complex BGB contracts in the project business
• Strong sales and marketing orientation, high presentation skills and confident, strategic communication at management and customer level
• High resilience, assertiveness and decisiveness combined with a high level of cooperation and empathy
• Strong ability to abstract and reflect in order to evaluate complex contexts
• Very good written and spoken German and English; knowledge of Italian is a plus
• Very good knowledge and confident handling of Microsoft 365 and Business Central
• Willingness to regularly attend the office in Geislingen on a pro rata basis (non-negotiable) and to work in a dual management team
