• You coordinate measures and those responsible for increasing energy efficiency in redevelopment areas, coordinate priorities for action together with urban renewal and the energy agency and play an active role in energy consultations and campaigns for a climate-neutral city
• You are the first point of contact and guide in the city administration for the expansion of the grid-based heating network. Together with the energy suppliers, you will advance the heating transition in Heilbronn in implementation projects, coordinate and manage on the part of the city administration, agree priorities with the stakeholders and maintain the accelerated decarbonized heating network expansion
• You support the systematic collection and evaluation of data in the course of energy-efficient refurbishment and heating network expansion, are responsible for reporting on the heating transition and work on pilot projects for digitalization,
• You are results- and process-oriented, enjoy working in a team to develop innovative and feasible solutions for the heating transition, taking climate adaptation measures into account, and support the optimization and standardization of internal processes between a wide range of relevant departments
• You coordinate working groups and project participants and use your technical expertise and wealth of experience in energy-related issues to motivate and network interested citizens.
• You communicate precisely and at the right time, know how to present complex topics in simple and understandable language and report to political and administrative bodies.
• You will handle general administrative tasks and be responsible for commissioning and managing external service providers and, if necessary, acquiring funding in this area.

• You have a degree with a focus on building technology, supply engineering, energy and environmental technology, energy management, process engineering, industrial engineering or similar, ideally with relevant professional experience in the energy or environmental sector, preferably you have already held a comparable position
• You are enthusiastic and passionate about topics relating to the energy and heat transition
• You have a confident manner and communication skills in dealing with stakeholders from administration, local authorities, companies and citizens.
• You work collegially in a team, communicate in an engaging manner and have very good written and spoken communication skills.
• You are flexible and knowledgeable in various areas of the heat transition and have approximately two years of professional experience in the field of energy-efficient refurbishment of buildings, energy management, mobility management, heat network expansion, refurbishment management or municipal heat planning (including authorization)
• You have a high degree of initiative, are communicative, work in a structured manner and are persistently committed to the issues. Knowledge of project development or project management and of managing external service providers is an advantage.
• You are adept at working with MS Office products and are willing to develop your professional skills. Skills in data analysis, for example in dealing with geoinformation systems and corresponding data structures, are desirable.
