Power Grid Project Planner
We, FairNetz GmbH, are the grid operator in Reutlingen and many other municipalities in the region. With a staff of around 400, we ensure the reliable and sustainable operation of electricity, natural gas, and district heating- We are actively and proactively shaping the energy transition using state-of-the-art technology, smart distribution grids, the integration of renewable energies, innovative digitalization strategies, and the promotion of electric mobility.
Your responsibilities
- Planning and design of medium- and low-voltage systems in our power grid, as well as multi-utility projects (including telecommunications and street lighting)
- Preparation of design documents and material orders in preparation for construction
- Preparation and support for tenders
- Project coordination with utility providers, government agencies, and specialized departments
- Coordination and management of external service providers and design firms
- Project support through to final acceptance
- Coordination and support for target network planning (the power grid of the future)
Your qualifications
- A successfully completed technical degree in electrical engineering or electrical power engineering, preferably supplemented by advanced training to become a master craftsman or technician; alternatively, an equivalent qualification
- An affinity for technology, openness, and an interest in actively shaping the energy transition
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and a high degree of independence combined with a structured approach to work
- Good IT user skills (MS Office, etc.)
