Specialist in Commercial Metering Operations (MSB) (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
- You ensure operational processes in metering station operations and drive their continuous optimization and further development
- Operational processes:
- Maintenance of device data and technical master data for metering points in the electricity, gas, water, and heat sectors
- Processing operational tasks related to new installations, meter replacements, device management, and more complex metering concepts
- Maintaining, verifying, and validating technical master data for new and existing installations, as well as handling downstream processes
- Ensuring complete and valid meter readings, as well as resolving anomalies in collaboration with service providers and technical counterparts
- Processing and monitoring market communication, supplier switching, and metering point operator processes, as well as resolving any errors that arise
- Continuous quality assurance of master and transaction data, including quality monitoring of external service providers
- You will analyze regulatory, technical, and commercial requirements and independently develop practical solutions based on them
- You will assist in the preparation of decision-making documents, analyses, and concepts for the strategic development of metering point operations.
- You will serve as the central point of contact between the relevant departments and coordinate technical coordination with internal and external partners.
Your Qualifications
- You have completed a commercial or technical apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by continuing education or a degree in the energy sector
- Ideally, you have professional experience in metering, metering point operations, or the energy industry
- You have knowledge of energy market processes, ideally in metering and market communication
- You are able to independently analyze and structure complex issues and develop practical solutions
- You are distinguished by your proficiency with MS Office applications and energy industry systems
- You work independently, take on responsibility, and proactively drive initiatives forward
- Analytical thinking, conceptual strength, and a structured approach to work are among your strengths
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a confident demeanor round out your profile
