Your Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair: You will be responsible for inspections, maintenance, and repair work on the high- and extra-high-voltage grid within the service region
- Work at Heights: You will perform work on utility poles, such as replacing cables or chains
- Coordination of Third-Party Contractors: You are responsible for providing instruction, coordinating, and ensuring quality assurance for work performed by third-party contractors
- On-Call Duty: To ensure an uninterrupted power supply, you will also regularly be on call in the Lower Saxony region
- Interdepartmental Communication: You coordinate activities and workflows with other departments
- The Field Operations AC department performs field work such as maintenance, overhauls, and small-scale projects for AC systems, including asset data management, documentation, and standardization. It assumes technical roles in larger projects and operates communication and automation networks. The unit performs detailed engineering services for various systems and provides central technical support to other operational units. Clear performance goals and OKRs are defined for management purposes.
Your Qualifications
- You have completed vocational training in a technical field, preferably as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Systems (m/f/d)
- Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification or are willing to undergo intensive training in the overhead line sector
- Professional experience in the areas mentioned above or knowledge of high-voltage cables is desirable
- You are comfortable using the MS Office suite
- You are comfortable working at heights and are willing to complete the G41 certification
- A high degree of teamwork, flexibility, and independence round out your profile
- The position requires a willingness to travel regularly (Hesse service group area)
- This position involves varying field assignments for which a Class B driver’s license (ideally also a Class C license) is required
