VSE Verteilnetz GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of VSE AG and a member of the VSE Group. As a regional grid operator, we are responsible for operating the 110-kV and 35-kV power grids, including asset management, grid services, grid operations, and regulatory management. With a high level of expertise, we ensure a reliable supply and trouble-free operation—24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Your Responsibilities

  • Project planning and implementation of new systems and their integration into the grid control system (switching sequences, reactive power control, internal control system programs, controllability checks for renewable energy plants, mapping of grid restoration and cascade in the control system)
  • Projects of transmission system operators (e.g., ER Code), E.ON (e.g., battery storage)

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing./Master’s or Bachelor’s) or Master Craftsman/Technician training in Electrical Engineering—successfully completed and providing a solid technical foundation for the role
  • Experience in grid operations—a basic understanding of high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) grid management and grid operations, ideally in the public power supply sector, is a plus
  • A passion for innovation and a willingness to learn — you remain curious, challenge the status quo, respond flexibly to change, and are committed to lifelong learning
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts as needed – following successful onboarding
