Asset Manager (m/f/d) – Fixed-term position for approximately one year
Your Responsibilities
- In Strategic Asset Management, you’ll play an active role in shaping the future of our utility networks. You’ll analyze trends, evaluate new technologies, and use these insights to develop concrete measures for a safe, sustainable, and efficient infrastructure. Your work combines technical expertise with strategic vision—and makes a significant contribution to the energy transition and long-term supply security in our region.
- Defining network renewal measures for electricity, gas, and water in collaboration with Operational Asset Management
- Technical and economic review and evaluation of network measures
- Further development of the asset management renewal strategy, taking into account all technical and regulatory framework conditions
- Implementation of special projects (e.g., target grid planning for electricity)
- Analysis of new technologies and their impact on the utility network (e.g., electric mobility, heat pumps, PV systems)
- Work in project groups on various grid-related topics (e.g., grids of the future, heat transition, digitization of utility grids)
- Preparation of technical and business documentation (e.g., planning principles, monitoring reports)
- Preparing presentations and organizing internal and external meetings
Your Qualifications
- A completed master’s degree with a focus on electrical engineering, utility engineering, or industrial engineering
- Initial experience in the energy sector
- Knowledge of asset management as well as grid planning and calculation (preferred)
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Analytical thinking, ability to work in a team, resilience, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently
