Product Manager, Smart Metering (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
- You know the market: You analyze market trends and competitors in the fields of meter operation, the energy industry, tenant electricity, and the housing sector.
- You think in terms of life cycles: You manage existing and new products throughout their entire life cycle—from the initial idea through launch to further development.
- You plan with foresight: You prepare price calculations and work with the sales team to develop competitive offers.
- You manage cross-functional relationships: You work closely with IT, engineering, procurement, and sales—in flat hierarchies with short decision-making paths.
- You help shape the process: As a product manager, you’ll support development projects, contributing your technical and business expertise.
- You’re digitally savvy: With your affinity for IT, you can quickly grasp, structure, and communicate technical requirements.
Your Qualifications
- Professional Skills
- You have completed a degree in business, engineering, energy management, or a comparable field of study.
- Ideally, you have some initial professional experience in product management—preferably in the energy sector, meter reading operations, the housing industry, or the utilities sector (not required).
- Expertise
- You have strong analytical skills, work in a structured manner, and can distill information to the essentials.
- You have a good understanding of technical concepts and strong IT skills.
- Motivation & Team Spirit
- You enjoy working independently as part of an interdisciplinary team—with an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach.
