Electrical Engineer / Civil Engineer (Civil Engineering) as 110-kV Transmission Network Project Manager (m/f/d)
The Offenbach region has an excellent network for electricity, natural gas, water, and district heating.
Since June 1, 2016, this has been managed by Energienetze Offenbach GmbH (ENO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Energieversorgung Offenbach AG (EVO).
Your Responsibilities
- Independent management of subprojects in the area of the transmission network (cables and overhead lines)
- Leading an interdisciplinary project team and coordinating external service providers with the goal of implementing the 110-kV grid expansion
- Ensuring that high-voltage grid expansions are completed on time and within budget
- Organizing, monitoring, and reviewing planning services, as well as obtaining all necessary permits from government agencies and local authorities
- Ongoing monitoring of project progress, initiating corrective actions in case of deviations, and actively managing the overall budget
- Strategic concept and grid development for 110-kV and 20-kV grids in collaboration with Asset Management
Your Qualifications
- A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering with a specialization in civil engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Advanced training in project management with relevant experience in similar projects
- Extensive experience in the management and implementation of complex projects, as well as strong knowledge of contract management
- In-depth technical expertise in the permitting and construction planning of power lines and facilities, as well as comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, guidelines, and regulations (e.g., regulatory approval processes, HOAI, VOB)
- Strong business acumen combined with excellent IT skills (SAP PM, SAP CO, MS Project, MS Office)
- Empathy, motivation, and the ability to handle conflicts, coupled with a confident demeanor and a strong team-oriented mindset
- An analytical, conceptual, and solution-oriented approach to thinking and working, coupled with a high degree of initiative, assertiveness, and organizational skills
