As a bus driver at Saarbahn GmbH, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that helps improve the quality of life in Saarbrücken—reliably, sustainably, and with heart.
Your Responsibilities
- Passenger transportation on the public transit network in the Saarbrücken Regional Association
- Safe, reliable, and punctual operation of trips
- Ticket sales and inspection, as well as passenger information
- Management of the ticket inventory
- Customer service tasks related to driving duties
Your Qualifications
- Class D Driver’s License
- Driver Qualification Certificate in accordance with the BKrFQG with code number 95
- Good knowledge of German, at least level B1
- Medical fitness for shift work in the transportation service (examination by a company physician)
- Clean extended police clearance certificate (to be provided upon request)
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Customer-oriented demeanor and reliability
- As part of our selection process, you will take a 30-minute reading comprehension test, participate in a 15-minute interview, and undergo a medical examination by our company physician.

- Pay Grade 5 – 3,165 EUR gross per month (completed accelerated basic training)
- Level 6 – 3,226 EUR gross per month (upon completion of professional driver training)
