Project Engineer for Climate-Neutral Heating Networks (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for project management related to the planning and implementation of district heating projects during service phases 3 through 8 of the HOAI
- Your responsibilities include creating route plans, pipeline layouts, and network calculations for local and district heating networks
- You will coordinate civil engineering work for pipe installation in close collaboration with specialized partners, government agencies, and utility companies
- You will perform pipe structural analyses and calculations for underground piping systems (pressure and heat loss) and prepare the complete construction documentation, including bills of quantities, quantity takeoffs, and bid documents
- In addition, you will facilitate the exchange of information among all project participants and clients and actively contribute to the further development of planning processes, standards, and technical guidelines
Your Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in project management and in the planning and implementation of heating networks or district heating and cooling networks
- A degree in energy and utilities engineering, environmental engineering, civil engineering, or comparable qualifications
- Knowledge of pipeline network calculations and network design, pipeline statics, route planning, pipeline rights, and permitting procedures
- Proficiency with common software (ORCA AVA, STANET, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Interest in implementing projects related to the heating transition
