Your Responsibilities
Business Ownership
- Lead and further develop the BESS & Renewables business with full responsibility for commercial performance, growth, and strategic direction
- Own and scale all commercial activities across Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development, and Product Management
- Shape and evolve Entelios’ BESS & Renewables value proposition, commercial offerings, and monetization models, ensuring long-term customer value and market competitiveness
Business Leadership & Growth
- Define and execute the market strategy for battery storage and renewable energy assets while identifying new business opportunities, revenue streams, and strategic partnerships
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with optimizers, investors, developers, utilities, and asset owners
- Anticipate market trends, regulatory developments, and customer needs
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team to support the next phase of growth
- Foster close collaboration with the Technology, Optimization, Onboarding, and Finance teams to translate market opportunities into scalable solutions
- Continuously improve processes, governance structures, and cross-functional ways of working
Your Profile
Experience & Background
- University degree in Engineering, Energy Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Several years of experience in the energy sector with significant exposure to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), renewable energy, or flexibility markets
- Proven background in one or more of the following areas: BESS or renewable energy project development, battery optimization and trading, or project finance for energy assets
Market & Commercial Expertise
- Deep understanding of power markets, flexibility products, and ancillary services
- Strong commercial mindset with experience in business development, sales, and strategic partnerships, combined with a deep knowledge of BESS business models, asset economics, and revenue optimization strategies, as well as customer management
- Ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into scalable business models and customer value
Leadership & Personality
- Demonstrated leadership experience and P&L responsibility, ideally including team development and business ownership
- Entrepreneurial personality with a hands-on approach, strong execution capabilities, and excellent stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in German and English is required
