For our Market Division, we are seeking a
Back Office Department Manager
Your Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the strategic and operational development of the Back Office department, including the corresponding teams for Market Communications, Billing, EEG Processing, and Accounts Receivable Management
- Leading and strategically developing team leaders, as well as fostering trust-based, cross-departmental collaboration
- Ensuring and continuously improving efficient, legally compliant, and high-quality processes throughout the energy industry value chain
- Driving the continuous improvement of processes and systems, particularly through the strategic use of digitalization and automation
- Responsibility for transparent, KPI-based reporting and the financial management of the division in close collaboration with internal and external partners
Your Qualifications:
- A successfully completed degree in energy economics, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Initial leadership experience or strong leadership potential, with a desire to take on responsibility and develop as a leader
- Good knowledge of energy industry processes (e.g., market communication, billing, EEG) as well as an interest in further deepening your understanding of regulatory topics (GPKE, GeLi Gas, WiM, MaBiS)
- Strong affinity for IT and processes, as well as an interest in digital solutions; initial experience in projects or in the further development of systems is a plus
- An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, along with the ability to drive initiatives forward and gain others’ support
