Project Engineer (m/f/d) Grid Connection

Your Responsibilities

  • Planning and submitting connection applications to the relevant grid operator for generation facilities (photovoltaic systems, sometimes in combination with charging infrastructure and battery storage)
  • Processing and preparing the necessary application documents (site plan, data sheets, and other forms)—initially under the guidance of experienced colleagues
  • Communicating with the grid operator and coordinating technical and contractual provisions
  • Project-related monitoring and coordination of on-site implementation
  • Commissioning (initially with support from experienced colleagues) of the generation facilities
  • Coordination and maintenance of plant certificates and declarations of conformity
  • Technical consulting for project development

Your Qualifications

  • A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or energy engineering, or vocational training in electrical engineering with additional qualifications as a technician or master craftsman
  • Knowledge of photovoltaics and medium-voltage systems (as well as related protection technology) is a plus
  • Very good written and spoken German
  • Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, ability to work independently, interest in familiarizing yourself with new subject areas, a team player with technical expertise and a confident demeanor
  • Proficiency with standard MS Office products
  • Willingness to travel throughout Germany; Class B driver’s license
  • You operate based on a clear set of values in which honesty, friendliness, and respect play a central role
