The Renewable BW division helps drive the expansion of renewable energy in the state. As part of the National Climate Protection Initiative, the Federal Ministry for the Environment is funding the joint project “BEEKOMM — Accelerating the Expansion of Renewable Energy in Municipalities” with the goal of supporting municipalities in advancing the expansion of renewable energy—with a focus on wind energy and ground-mounted photovoltaics—from a technical, organizational, and communications perspective. KEA-BW leads and coordinates this nationwide collaborative project.
Your responsibilities include:
Coordinating and providing technical guidance to municipal liaisons in the BEEKOMM project in Baden-Württemberg.
Supporting municipal liaisons with technical questions regarding renewable energy, municipal processes, and dialogue and participation formats.
Managing project-related monitoring and taking responsibility for documentation, reporting, and goal achievement in Baden-Württemberg.
Developing and ensuring consistent standards for consulting and support, as well as quality assurance for project activities.
Contributing to the development and refinement of the modular training program and other support services for municipalities.
Coordinating project goals and processes with project management, consortium partners, and the specialist departments at KEA-BW.
Representing the technical content to municipalities, technical experts, and other relevant stakeholders.
Supporting the project team in the successful implementation and institutionalization of the project results.
Here's what we'd like:
A relevant academic degree or comparable qualification.
In-depth expertise in the fields of renewable energy, the energy transition, and municipal climate protection.
Experience in coordinating, managing, or implementing projects, ideally in a municipal setting.
Knowledge of municipal structures and decision-making processes, and ideally experience in facilitating and moderating dialogue processes.
A deep understanding of the challenges faced by municipalities.
A structured, methodical, and efficient approach to work, combined with an openness to pragmatic solutions; strategic and analytical thinking.
Confident, persuasive demeanor and the ability to speak freely.
Very good written and spoken German.
Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
A clear commitment to and motivation for climate protection and sustainable development.
Willingness to travel within Baden-Württemberg and between the two KEA-BW locations in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart.
