As Head of Data Management (m/f/d), you will assume a key leadership role in the Energy and Measurement Data Management division. Together with your team, you will ensure the reliable execution of core energy industry processes and shape their strategic development. In doing so, you will combine leadership responsibilities, process optimization, and digital transformation within a challenging regulatory environment. Through your work, you will make an important contribution to a secure energy supply and to the implementation of the energy transition in our region.
You will lead an experienced team of specialists with comprehensive expertise in energy market processes. The team’s high level of technical expertise will enable you to focus on the strategic development of the department, the digitization of processes, and the successful implementation of change initiatives.

What it’s all about...
- Leading and developing a well-coordinated team of 10 specialists, as well as creating the framework for high-performance and forward-looking collaboration
- Managing and continuously improving core energy industry processes, particularly in the areas of energy accounting, meter data processing, and market communication
- Initiating and implementing digitization and automation projects in meter reading management
- Coordinating contract management with suppliers, metering point operators, energy service providers, and other market partners
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the timely fulfillment of reporting obligations
- Regular reporting to divisional management
What we’re looking for...
- A completed degree in Energy Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field, ideally with a Diplom or Master’s degree
- Several years of professional and leadership experience, for example as a team leader or group leader
- Experience in the energy industry is desirable
- Ideally, knowledge of grid management processes and regulatory requirements
- Experience in monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators as well as in implementing digitalization projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
