The Renewable BW division helps drive the expansion of renewable energy—particularly in the wind and solar energy sectors—within the state, increase the availability of land for this expansion, and promote the energy transition. In this context, KEA-BW plays a central role in mediating between municipalities and project developers and in disseminating best practices throughout the state. It serves as a central point of contact for project developers, municipalities, and other stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include:

The development of concrete support measures to accelerate the expansion of renewable energy at the municipal level, with a focus on securing land for ground-mounted photovoltaic systems
Networking with and supporting key stakeholders in the photovoltaic sector at the municipal and state levels
Active networking within various expert committees in the field of photovoltaics
Supporting regional network partners as part of the state-level coordination of the Baden-Württemberg Photovoltaic Network
Providing initial consultation to municipal decision-makers on ground-mounted photovoltaic systems
Conceiving and drafting the content of publications, such as guidelines on overarching topics related to ground-mounted photovoltaic systems
Conceiving and organizing events on the topic of the energy transition, with a focus on the expansion of ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, including giving presentations.

Here's what we'd like:

A university degree (Dipl./M.Sc./M.A.) in the fields of spatial planning, participatory planning, geography, political science and public administration, energy economics, energy law, or a comparable qualification
Expertise in photovoltaics and renewable energy in general
Experience with municipal processes and, ideally, in facilitating and moderating dialogue processes
Ideally, experience with geographic information systems such as QGIS
A deep understanding of the challenges faced by municipalities
A structured, methodical, and efficient approach to work, combined with an openness to pragmatic solutions; strategic and analytical thinking
Confident, persuasive demeanor; ability to speak freely; strong verbal and written communication skills
Very good written and spoken German
Ability to work well in a team and strong communication skills
Clear commitment to and motivation for climate protection and sustainable development
