Dena’s mission is to contribute to the success of the energy transition. As a center of expertise for applied energy transition and climate protection, it supports the federal government in achieving its energy and climate policy goals. To this end, it brings together partners from politics, business, academia, and all sectors of society. Both nationally and internationally, dena develops solutions for climate neutrality and puts them into practice.
Your Responsibilities
The focus of the role is on designing and implementing communication initiatives for the SET Hub, dena’s national startup project. As a Communications Manager at the SET Hub, you will operate at the intersection of communications, energy startups, innovation, politics, and the energy industry.
You will develop complex communication concepts and strategies, and oversee and manage their implementation in the areas of startups and new business ventures, the energy transition and climate protection, as well as technological and business model innovations in the energy and cleantech sectors.
You will further develop and refine digital formats and designs, ranging from project websites to social media and video content. In doing so, you will work closely with internal teams and external service providers to refine content in a way that is editorially sound, impactful, and budget-optimized.
You will actively drive the growth of the SET Hub community and develop measures to increase the reach and visibility of the project and its results.
You will confidently coordinate communication activities and align content and formats both within dena and with stakeholders and project partners.
Using your communication skills and creative experience, you will advise your colleagues on the projects regarding the planning of communication activities and oversee their operational implementation.
You will be responsible for responding to project-related inquiries from trade media and identifying relevant editorial teams to ensure targeted placement of project results and innovations from the SET Hub.
You will assist with the organizational implementation of national and international events (in-person and virtual) in this field in collaboration with our events team.
