Your responsibilities:
As a Network Supervisor, you will control and monitor the EWR’s various business units from our control center in Worms. We offer you an exciting and varied role, as well as the opportunity to work independently and further your personal and professional development. But what exactly would that entail?
Independent management of the utility networks and facilities for electricity, gas, water, and services while working in shifts
Supporting system maintenance and administration, as well as analyzing and resolving malfunctions in the control system
Coordinating measures to ensure supply reliability, including initiating steps to restore service
Receiving customer service calls, initiating troubleshooting measures, and thoroughly documenting all processes
Designing process and facility diagrams, maintaining system data, and preparing informative reports
Participation in information security management (ISMS) and operation of technical interfaces to telecontrol systems, GIS, and IT
Serving as the point of contact for customers, grid operators, government agencies, and external service providers
Participation in on-call duty following completion of training
Your Profile:
Completed training in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification; ideally, a master craftsman’s certification or a willingness to pursue such certification
Good knowledge of grid management and grid management systems is desirable
Solid IT skills as well as basic knowledge of VDE and accident prevention regulations
Excellent communication skills, a high degree of initiative, and analytical, solution-oriented, and process-oriented thinking
A strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, decisiveness, and the ability to work well in a team
Fluency in spoken and written German
Class B driver’s license
