The Build AC department implements AC construction projects in geographically organized regions. It provides project management and engineering services in areas such as construction, permitting, right-of-way, and logistics. It also supports these efforts with quality and document management as well as project warehousing. The unit coordinates regional and national activities with stakeholders and defines clear performance targets and OKRs to implement strategic goals in AC grid expansion.

Your responsibilities:
- As a disciplinary manager, you will systematically develop your team and be responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees
- Together with project managers, you ensure forward-looking staffing and resource planning and promote the cross-functional exchange of knowledge and experience
- You serve as the central point of contact with other project disciplines and oversee the further development and implementation of guidelines and processes
- Through clear guidance, the promotion of performance, collaboration, and a safety culture, as well as your expert advice on complex permitting and environmental issues, you will make a significant contribution to the project’s success
Your Profile:
- You stand out for having a bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental, urban, or landscape planning; civil or electrical engineering; or a comparable field, as well as extensive experience in the planning and permitting of linear and infrastructure projects
- In addition, you bring expertise in the planning of nature conservation measures
- You have in-depth knowledge of the relevant standards and legal requirements in the permitting and environmental sectors and, ideally, demonstrate strong experience in project management , complemented by IPMA Level D certification
- With your strong communication skills in German and English , you successfully lead interdisciplinary teams—even remotely—motivate employees, and foster a high-performing and respectful team culture
