Here’s what you can expect:
- Assuming responsibility for switchgear stations, substations, and 110-kV overhead lines in our service area in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100
- Performing inspection, maintenance, and operational tasks at switching stations and substations, as well as on 110-kV overhead lines
- Performing repair and installation work on 20-kV and 110-kV switchgear
- Development and execution of switching programs and switching operations up to 110 kV in coordination with the grid control center
- Supervision and training of contractors
- Assistance with facility documentation
- Ensuring compliance with all technical, safety, environmental, and management system-related regulations
- Acting as the facility manager on an interim basis to ensure compliance with accident prevention regulations, technical rules, and operating instructions
- Participation in on-call duty
You bring the following:
- Completed training as a certified electrician
- Willingness to pursue further training in a wide range of subject areas
- Experience in grid operations is a plus
- A responsible, independent, and self-directed work style
- Proficiency with MS Office
- A structured approach to fault detection and troubleshooting
- Strong coordination and organizational skills
- Must hold a Class BE driver’s license or higher
- Strong communication skills when dealing with service providers
