Become part of the energy transition and shape the future of grid sales with us. The team consists of a total of 18 employees who work at 5 different Westnetz locations. Your area of responsibility includes the independent and autonomous support of grid customers and feeders. In a constantly changing and exciting energy (transition) world, you are the contact person for technical and process-related topics with the clear goal of digitizing and simplifying them.

That's why you get up:

  • Processing complex requests for the connection of new systems such as large industrial customers, charging parks for electric vehicles or wind farms
  • Conceptualizing the grid connection of customer systems and the metrological recording of electricity consumption and generation
  • Coordinating and being responsible for the preparation and conclusion of the associated grid connection and grid usage contract
  • Processing complex inquiries on energy industry topics such as feed-in tariffs, Redispatch 2.0 or gas crisis preparedness
  • Involvement in cross-organizational and cross-departmental working groups and projects with regard to the implementation of changes to legal, contractual and technical conditions
  • You lay the foundation for joint success by preparing informative presentations and clearly defined decision papers

What you bring with you:

  • Successfully completed technical/university studies in the field of (business) engineering, economics or (business) law
  • In-depth professional experience in the energy sector (e.g. municipal utilities; wind energy, biomass, electrical distribution systems)
  • Knowledge of the operational processes of a grid operator and the legal regulations of the energy industry is desirable, but not a must
  • Basic experience and methodological knowledge in project management and possibly initial experience of agile methods
  • You strive for a high level of customer satisfaction without losing sight of the company's interests
  • You shape your environment by actively introducing and pursuing new, unconventional and creative ideas
  • You recognize the stressful situations of others and offer support
  • You find it easy to process information quickly and put it to good use.

What we offer you:

  • Our collective agreement offers security: We offer you an attractive annual salary of approx. 79,000 euros after induction (plus pay rise in 2024) as well as many additional benefits: Allowance for sick pay, accident insurance and an employer-funded pension scheme
  • Your work-life balance is important to us! That's why we offer you flexible working hours and 30 days' annual leave. With us, you can also turn your "home" into an "office" to work even more flexibly
  • The opportunity to actively design a customer-oriented external presence and develop commercial processes based on your technical expertise
  • Excellent opportunity to establish cross-organizational contacts and cooperation with various departments within and outside Westnetz
  • A collegial, motivated and highly networked team with a keen sense for technical details and an eye for the big picture
