Securing Energy for Europe - a simple statement with an ambitious goal. SEFE is not just our company name, it describes everything that defines and drives us. To pursue our ambition, we work every day to secure the supply of gas. But beyond that, we see ourselves as an important part of the European energy transition, with the aim of contributing to a stable and sustainable future. As a fully integrated energy company, we serve our customers along the entire energy value chain - from procurement and trading to transportation, storage and sales. Together, we are committed to securing the gas supply in Germany and Europe and driving forward the green energy transition. Our international teams work across locations in Europe, Asia and North America. Energy supply and its strategically important role towards a sustainable future drive us in our daily work.

Your tasks

We supply our customers with a lot of energy. To manage and calculate these energy volumes, we use a complex energy data management system (EDM), which receives large volumes of time series data from all over Europe, manages it efficiently, calculates it and forwards it to connected systems. As an Application Support Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the operation and further development of the EDM as part of the existing IT team. You will not only support your colleagues at the technical operational level, but also build up an in-depth technical understanding of energy data management and work closely with the business. They ensure that the energy data is processed correctly and support the mapping of contracts in the system on the IT side. Through sophisticated monitoring and testing, you also ensure that even the smallest error is detected and rectified. With your versatility, you have everything you need to not only delve deep into the technical details and energy data management itself, but also manage external service providers and support the Application Owner and his team with all EDM-related issues. You work hand in hand with the business and other departments and gather their requirements in order to develop optimal solutions and drive their implementation forward. Conception, administration, integration, going live - you are just as proficient in the operational details as you are in vendor management. You will use your knowledge to further develop the EDM system and prepare it for the challenges ahead. You will work hand in hand with various departments and IT colleagues to optimize EDM and develop group-wide solutions. Last but not least, we would be delighted if you would like to drive projects forward and take on responsibility in sub-projects. You are an active designer (m/f/d) and work on exciting projects and new products.
