Approval planning/procedure officer (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- As an approval planning/procedure officer (m/f/d), you will manage and coordinate the smooth running of the necessary approval procedures in this central position. You will be in close contact with other specialist functions and the relevant authorities and will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the relevant approval procedures. In our collaborative teams, you can contribute your skills effectively, develop your specialist knowledge and help us shape the future of sustainable energy supply.
- You will be responsible for monitoring and managing the entire approval process from the perspective of the project sponsor.
- Preparation, management and coordination of complex approval procedures, in particular regional planning and planning approval procedures for large-scale infrastructure projects for the development of a hydrogen network in northern Germany
- Compilation and submission of application documents for building permits, nature conservation permits, water permits and other permits under public law as well as obtaining the permits on time and monitoring the associated conditions
- Management and coordination of the planning offices and environmental experts involved
- Representing the company, the operating sites and projects vis-à-vis approval and specialist authorities as well as other relevant stakeholders (authority engineering)
- Supporting the operating sites and projects in matters relating to approval law
Your qualifications

- Technical, nature conservation or legal studies
- Sound experience in the legal approval of infrastructure or other major technical projects
- Good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and sets of rules relating to approval law (e.g. EnWG, BImSchG, UVPG)
- Experience in the environmental, water or soil protection assessment of infrastructure projects is a good addition
- reliable and experienced
- High level of assertiveness and skill in dealing with stakeholders
- Confident acting under high decision-making and responsibility pressure
- Very good communication skills and a confident manner
- Ability to work in a team, also in international project groups
- Knowledge of project management
- Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office products Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams etc.
- Good written and spoken English skills
