Your tasks

In the owner function of the Asset Networks department for the energy, water, broadband and lighting network infrastructures, you will work towards a sustainable optimization of results, which is ensured through cooperation with the subsidiary network operations management company in particular at a value-added level. Your involvement in the strategic orientation and management of technical and commercial matters will ensure the efficient management of the grids with corresponding quality. The requirements of the energy transition to transform the grids are very important to us. Here you can actively set new priorities in selected areas, both internally and externally. All of this has an impact on the strategic activities on concessions that you are responsible for in a group as the basis for our actions. You will independently develop and supervise processes for fundamental decisions or projects. You will be involved in competitive procedures for existing and new concessions in individual specialist areas. As part of the interaction with the grid company, constant optimizations are necessary, which you develop in your working environment and which are coordinated as goals and specifications with the relevant specialist departments. From an asset owner perspective, you will independently oversee analyses and statements as well as presentations for the management and for internal processes and from inquiries from associations, authorities or municipalities. You will work on technical, commercial and legal issues with the relevant specialist departments. You will also be involved in fundamental issues such as municipal heat planning, grid integrity and securing results for the asset base, and support the management level in association and committee work. You will be responsible for developing your own models and will be involved in supporting and updating existing models, including for economic planning at the value-added stage. Participation in external activities and personal association work round off your job profile.


Your qualifications

Completed degree, preferably in economics or engineering or a similar subject area Functionally relevant professional experience in the context of asset management, ideally broad knowledge and skills in the grid-bound energy industry Sufficient technical, primarily more economic knowledge, MS Office, in particular xlsx (VBA an advantage), grid regulation, legal bases of the energy industry A high level of comprehension combined with the desire to learn new things, analytical skills as well as negotiating skills and strong communication skills Strong problem-solving skills, a structured and independent way of working as well as strong coordination and organizational skills
