Dena’s mission is to contribute to the success of the energy transition. As a center of expertise for applied energy transition and climate protection, it supports the federal government in achieving its energy and climate policy goals. To this end, it brings together partners from politics, business, academia, and all sectors of society. Both nationally and internationally, dena develops solutions for climate neutrality and puts them into practice.
The transformation of the industrial and transportation sectors is crucial to the success of the energy transition. Energy efficiency is a key prerequisite for cost-effective climate protection and sustainability across all sectors. The “Industry, Mobility & Energy Efficiency” division, with over 100 employees, is organized into these three areas of focus. The Project Management Office serves as a cross-functional unit responsible for project management across the division’s projects.
