Your Responsibilities
- As part of our service team, you and your colleagues will ensure that our automation systems function flawlessly, thereby guaranteeing stable and safe grid operation
- You will independently perform detailed inspections of control system equipment during commissioning and maintenance work at our substations
- You will configure and patch the network components of our substation buses and troubleshoot them as well
- Whether during planned work or emergency response calls—including temporary on-call shifts—you’ll have repeated opportunities to apply and deepen your knowledge of electrical engineering and automation technology
- In your work, you will help address the numerous challenges posed by the energy transition in Germany and the resulting increased grid load, both independently and as part of a team with dedicated colleagues
- The Field Operations AC department performs field work such as maintenance, overhauls, and small-scale projects for AC systems, including asset data, documentation, and standardization. It assumes technical roles in larger projects and operates communication and automation networks. The unit performs detailed engineering work for various systems and provides central technical support to other operational units. Clear performance goals and OKRs are defined for management purposes.
Your Qualifications
- You have completed
- vocational training
- in the field of electrical engineering with a focus on
- automation technology or network technology
- And an additional qualification as a master craftsman/technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of switchgear technology,
- network technology
- as well as (substation)
- control systems
- are desirable
- You enjoy getting hands-on and are interested in automation technology
