B2B Sales Professional Energy – Electricity & Natural Gas (m/f/d)

The pay scale is based on one of the best collective agreements within the public sector (TV-V), in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement.

Your tasks

  • As a B2B Sales Professional Energy – Electricity & Natural Gas (m/f/d), you will actively acquire new customers, strategically develop existing customers and contribute your market ideas to the future of energy supply. With your negotiating skills, your instinct for opportunities and your know-how, you will play an active role in shaping our sales.
  • Acquire new customers & inspire existing ones: You actively approach potential B2B customers and turn contacts into real partnerships – especially in the areas of trade, services, church associations, cultural and social institutions and cold calling is not a foreign word for you, but an opportunity. At the same time, you develop our existing customers and recognize additional potential in the portfolio.
  • Convincing offers: You think and calculate economically and negotiate contracts with a clear goal in mind: sustainable, fair and successful deals for both sides.
  • “One face to the customer”: You are the first port of call for your customers. You coordinate sales partners, back office, customer service and billing and ensure that everything runs smoothly internally so that everything runs smoothly externally. At the same time, you will identify additional needs and actively exploit cross-selling potential within our portfolio (particularly in the area of energy services) in order to develop customers holistically.
  • Tendering under control: Whether it’s a public tender or an online portal, you maintain an overview, work in a structured manner and submit offers on time and in top quality.
  • Helping to shape instead of just implementing: You contribute your market ideas to projects, support the further development of our product portfolio and represent us at trade fairs and events. In short: you think sales further.

Your qualifications

  • Degree: You have a technical or commercial qualification or ideally have successfully completed a degree with a technical or (energy) business background. This foundation will help you get started in the world of energy sales.
  • Experience in sales & B2B: You have relevant professional experience in energy sales or in a comparable B2B environment (at least three years) or you have completed a degree and are ready to apply your knowledge directly You know how to inspire customers, close deals and build long-term partnerships.
  • Specialist knowledge: You have specialist knowledge of the energy markets and the relevant energy industry and legal framework conditions. If you don’t have all the knowledge here yet, that’s no problem – you will be supported by an experienced team and have the opportunity to familiarize yourself quickly and continuously expand your knowledge.
  • IT skills: You are fit in dealing with MS Office, especially Excel, and ideally have experience with SAP and CRM systems.
  • Mobility: You have a class B driving license so that you can visit our customers in person if necessary.
