Your tasks
- Our team is responsible for balancing group and portfolio management as well as energy trading as a service provider for internal and external customers. In particular, we ensure optimized forecasting and balancing group management (electricity / gas), taking into account, for example, renewable energies or innovative customer products. As a balancing group and energy data manager (m/f/d), you are a crucial part of this team:
- You will create and optimize forecasts from industrial and household customers as well as renewable generation plants
- You will be responsible for balancing group management for electricity / gas and handle the MaBis and GaBi processes in the supplier and BKV market roles
- You will work at the interfaces to our sales teams and portfolio management, provide forecasts and actual data and support the quotation process
- You will further develop energy data management processes and systems with regard to new products and market requirements
- You control and maintain the energy data management system and ensure daily processes and high forecast quality
Your qualifications
- Completed studies related to the area of responsibility (e.g. business administration, economics, industrial engineering, business informatics) or a comparable field of study
- Good understanding of time series, forecasts and statistical correlations
- Desire to work with time series/mass data, the EDM system and energy market processes
- Relevant professional experience in the energy industry environment is a big plus
- Experience in energy data, portfolio or balancing group management for electricity and gas is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of Excel, experience with EDM systems (e.g. BelVis) is an advantage
- Independent and implementation-oriented way of working
- Analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to work in a team and communication skills
