Biologist as project manager for approval procedures/environmental planning (m/f/d) with a focus on compensation/mapping

Your tasks

  • Competent management of the necessary approval procedures with a focus on environmental planning, compensation and mapping for the construction and modification of high-pressure gas pipelines and gas technology systems (e.g. gas pressure control and measuring systems) for biogas and/or hydrogen transportation
  • Active management of the projects for which you are responsible (project planning, reporting, quality management and documentation)
  • Management of regional planning and planning approval procedures and coordination of all companies to be involved (engineering firms, experts, etc.)
  • Experienced project communication and stakeholder management for the construction projects for which you are responsible, e.g. by representing our construction projects to all internal and external stakeholders as a competent contact person (e.g. for politicians, authorities, residents, media)
  • Strong communication skills in coordination with authorities and other stakeholders
  • Developing concepts and specifications
  • Participation in external and internal working groups

Your qualifications

  • Completed studies in environmental science, environmental management, biology, nature conservation and landscape planning, agricultural science, forestry or similar
  • Ideally already position-relevant professional experience in the infrastructure sector or the willingness to familiarize yourself with a high level of commitment
  • In-depth knowledge in the field of environmental planning/compensation/mapping is an advantage
  • Very good planning, organizational and problem-solving skills as well as a high level of initiative and independent working style
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with different target groups paired with your negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel and a car driver’s license
