Gasunie is the driving force behind the new hydrogen economy. With our nationwide infrastructure, we are laying the foundations for a sustainable energy system that combines the supply, demand and storage of hydrogen. Your tasks
As a Business Analyst Hydrogen (m/f/d), you collect, analyze and interpret requested and unsolicited market information and market developments. You translate this into consequences and measures for Gasunie and the hyperlink projects. You will provide the management with sound advice, make concrete proposals and work in Gasunie's multidisciplinary and international hydrogen team in Hanover. You provide an optimal insight into the ramp-up of the hydrogen market and use this as a basis for further commercial process steps and the design of Gasunie's commercial strategy. In this position you will act at the interface of market data (supply and demand), finance, regulation and business results and thus have a direct impact on our business. You will calculate and develop (risk) models and be able to interpret the results and communicate them clearly to management. You provide important building blocks for upcoming investment decisions.
Your qualifications
Does your heart beat faster at the thought of driving the market ramp-up in hydrogen? Do you have experience with business development and market analysis? Do you get energy from working in multidisciplinary teams? Then this is the right position for you. To do your job well, you cultivate relationships inside and outside the organization and have experience and enjoy working in an (inter)national environment. You have a university/college degree, e.g. in economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification. You have several years of professional experience with outstanding knowledge in the energy sector or a related sector. You have strong analytical skills and are confident in using Excel. You have good communication skills in German and English, both verbally and in writing. Above all, however, you set the tone with your personality: you are enthusiastic and strong-willed! You work autonomously, enjoy immersing yourself in the subject matter and can easily formulate and realize ideas thanks to your overview. You are able to realize the opportunities of the energy transition in a results-oriented and proactive manner. You are also a team player, think sustainably and are good at involving and convincing different stakeholders.
