Business IT Specialist / Industrial Engineer (m/f/d) as Energy Analyst (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Analysis: You monitor and analyze developments on the energy markets. Your market analyses and key figures are of crucial importance in supporting the economic management of energy trading and resource planning. You evaluate regulatory developments in the energy industry that have an impact on energy trading.
- Support: You will support the market data and the associated systems and processes.
- Participation : You will be involved in regulatory reporting (emissions trading TEHG/BEHG, HKNs, electricity labeling), volume planning and procurement of energy on the futures and spot market for electricity, gas, CO2 and guarantees of origin and will provide support in the calculation of input costs.
- Contribution: Your contribution to the system integration and support of generation plants and contract models (renewable energies, PPA) as well as system design and operation has a direct influence on the daily processes (day ahead/intraday) including balancing group management.
Your qualifications
- Education : You have a degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, business informatics or a comparable field.
- Knowledge : It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in energy trading, portfolio management and the framework conditions of the energy industry.
- Software : We expect you to be confident with MS Office products (especially Excel) and IT tools for the energy industry.
- Personality : You have a good understanding of process organization and process automation in the energy industry environment and work independently, in a structured and forward-looking manner.
