Commercial employee (m/f/d) for customer service & sales in the energy industry
As an operator-managed cooperative from Steinfurt, we support operators of renewable energy systems with the increasingly complex challenges of the energy industry. Energielandwerker eG stands for practical, independent and cross-technology support with the aim of helping to shape the energy transition in an economically sensible and cooperative manner. A particular focus of our work is advising on direct marketing and providing energy industry support for renewable energy systems.
In addition, we support and advise our members on energy industry issues relating to sector coupling and battery storage, PPAs and alternative marketing concepts, register and master data maintenance, billing verification, guarantees of origin and other commercial processes in plant operation.
Your tasks
- Customer service & sales – direct marketing & energy industry part-time or full-time
- In this position, you will be the central point of contact for our portfolio operators and will also support energy industry and sales processes. You will be in close contact with our members, customers and partners, provide information on current developments, coordinate the preparation of relevant data and support the practical implementation of our services.
- In addition, you will support our sales team in the preparation and processing of our services, accompany customer appointments and always communicate in a friendly, binding and solution-oriented manner.
- You will support our operators and members in their day-to-day business and be the first point of contact for commercial and energy-related issues.
- You process inquiries independently and clarify issues directly or in coordination with our partners after appropriate training.
- You will handle services independently, for example the implementation of direct marketing contracts, the tendering of purchased electricity or the fulfillment of energy industry reporting obligations.
- You support the preparation and review of relevant documents, data and contract content and ensure proper organizational implementation.
- You will accompany sales and commercial discussions with operators, customers and market partners and play an active role in the further development of our offers.
- You will support communication with direct marketers, grid operators, service providers and other contacts in the energy industry.
- You will work with our systems and processes in a structured manner and also support the maintenance of customer and project data, for example in CRM-related applications.
Your qualifications
- Completed commercial training or a degree with a commercial, energy industry or industrial engineering focus
- First or several years of experience in internal sales, customer service, commercial management or a comparable commercial function
- Ideally experience in the energy industry, particularly in direct marketing, commercial operations management or in the sale of energy industry services
- Negotiating skills, an engaging manner and enjoy communicating with customers, operators and service providers
- A structured, reliable and independent way of working
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a team, solution-oriented and strong implementation skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytical thinking skills and enjoy working on complex topics in an understandable and practical way
- Enthusiasm for the energy transition and for the change from centralized to decentralized energy structures
