As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of the Rhine district of Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. We are responsible for the operation, planning, maintenance and expansion of the local and regional electricity, natural gas and drinking water distribution networks as well as the operation of metering points. Your tasks
- You will be responsible for the billing of grid connections in the areas of electricity, gas and water. You will actively shape processes and ensure that everything runs according to the rules.
- You are the central contact person for construction electricity billing – from careful preparation to quality control, always in close cooperation with project teams and external partners.
- You coordinate the construction site electricity metering processes and contribute your expertise when it comes to optimally mapping and continuously improving processes in SAP.
- You will prepare the billing-relevant data for the quarterly and annual financial statements and help to ensure that collaboration with Financial Accounting runs smoothly.
- You will have the opportunity to actively help shape innovative SAP accounting processes, test new functions and support their introduction. In this way, you will drive digitalization and further development at our company.
- In discussions with various departments, customers and service providers, you will clarify complex issues and find solutions together – allowing you to fully develop your communication skills and commitment.
Your qualifications
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by innovative additional qualifications in the energy industry, accounting or process management.
- Your several years of experience in energy industry billing and your confident handling of SAP (especially SAP IS-U) make you a driving force for digital change and smart processes.
- With your analytical talent, your willingness to learn numbers and your structured approach, you bring a breath of fresh air to the team.
- Your strong communication skills, commitment and enthusiasm for collaboration ensure that new solutions are created and our success grows together.
