Concept planner:in Networks Water & Gas
Your tasks
- As a concept planner in the area of grids, water and gas, you will be responsible for development tasks and grid concepts for the redesign of the gas grid as part of the energy transition and the expansion of the district heating grid in Hanover.
- To this end, you will carry out network calculations, further develop our digital network model and support our external service providers.
- You will also be involved in the takeover and integration of water and gas grids with unbundling and grid optimization concepts.
- You will design large-scale reallocation projects and commission decommissioning measures in the gas network.
- You will also be responsible for controlling the operational maintenance programs in gas grid systems.
- You will process special grid connection requests in the gas grid, also in the context of upstream grid operators.
- You will support asset management in the creation of strategic planning and business plans.
- You will also be involved in feasibility studies and the development of a potential hydrogen network.
Your qualifications
- You have a Master’s degree or diploma in engineering or can provide evidence of comparable qualifications in the fields of utilities management, mechanical/process engineering or a comparable field.
- You also have professional experience and comprehensive knowledge of the utilities industry, preferably in the gas sector, as well as IT, in particular MS Office, CAD/Microstation, network calculation and data management.
- Your personality is characterized by an independent, confident and convincing manner as well as a solution-oriented approach, initiative, the ability to work in a team and an analytical and systematic way of working.
