Consultant (d/w/m) in the newsroom

The newsroom is responsible for the successful communication and media communication of the content and political work of Deutsche Umwelthilfe. This is where all the threads for day-to-day external communication via press relations and digital media as well as the communication of campaigns come together. The newsroom is the central interface between our specialist departments working on content and the management.
Your tasks
- Creation of press releases, web and social media contributions in words, sound, images and moving images
- Support for (media) events
- Coordinating press inquiries and taking on tasks within community management
- Planning and conceptualizing campaigns in coordination with the division management and other DUH teams
Your qualifications
- Experience in communications work and social media management
- Ideally experience in journalism and knowledge of the media system
- Quick comprehension and strong interest in communications work
- Very good knowledge of German
- Reliability, diligence and a keen interest in environmental and consumer protection policy issues
