Educational communication has a long tradition in our association. Our online portal "Energie macht Schule" offers extensive teaching materials on exciting energy topics for school lessons: from teacher­hand­resources to digital worksheets and games. In addition to school communication, we are also responsible for the association initiative "Alles Wasser Volt". With the "Alles Wasser Volt" initiative, BDEW supports its member companies in their search for qualified young talent.

Education and specialist communication is part of the "Communication" business unit.

Your tasks:

  • As a consultant (f/m/d) for educational communication, you will write and edit materials in collaboration with our in-house specialist colleagues. Your ability to make complex content accessible is required here
  • You are responsible for continuously monitoring, analyzing and evaluating current developments in the STEM education sector.
  • The development and implementation of concepts in education marketing as part of our education initiative "Alles Wasser Volt" are part of the job. You will work closely with the campaign team to communicate the message to future specialists clearly and effectively
  • The conception, support and regular updating of our online presences "Energie macht Schule" and "Alles Wasser Volt" in cooperation with the respective service provider agencies is part of your tasks. You will ensure that our digital platforms are always appealing and up-to-date in order to reach our target groups in the best possible way
  • Organizing the professional exchange with the industry, pooling interests and supporting colleagues from member companies as much as possible in educational communication on site are all part of our remit

Your profile:

  • Studies / training: You have a degree from a technical college or university or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Professional experience: With at least three years of relevant professional experience, you have sound knowledge of education management and editorial work
  • Expertise: Experience in STEM topics is an advantage and expertise in website management and community management
  • Very good organizational skills: Enjoy changing tasks and solution-oriented implementation
  • Structured way of working: Dedicated, reliable and independent
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Language: Very good knowledge of German
  • IT skills: Very good knowledge of common software­applications for modern online communication (MS Office 365)
