Consultant (f/m/d) Energy and climate protection – focus: heat transition in the building sector

You will be part of a committed and interdisciplinary team in the field of energy & climate protection, which is committed to effective climate protection in the building sector with a great deal of expertise and passion. Together, we are working to drive forward the socially responsible heating transition, accelerate the phase-out of fossil heating systems and make the entire life cycle of buildings climate-friendly. Your tasks
- Content and administrative processing of projects in the Energy & Climate Protection division, in particular with a focus on the socially responsible heating transition
- Supporting the political representation of interests vis-à-vis EU institutions as well as the federal and state governments
- Planning and implementing our campaigns for climate protection and a socially just heating transition in the building sector
- Research and analysis with a scientific approach
- Preparation of statements
- Representing the division at internal and external events
- Support and further development of our networks
- Preparing the content of press work
Your qualifications
- Completed university degree in a field relevant to the position
- Ideally experience in non-governmental organizations, politics or science
- Knowledge of the interfaces between science, politics and society
- Reliability, organizational skills, flexibility, strong communication skills and an independent way of working
- Very good written and spoken communication skills, very good knowledge of English
- Experienced with MS Office and an affinity for digital communication
