As the umbrella organization of the energy and water industry, BDEW, together with its regional organizations and its more than 2,000 member companies, pursues the major goal of leading Germany towards climate neutrality with a secure and efficient energy supply and is committed to safe and sustainable water management. It represents network operators at all voltage and pressure levels in Germany.
Would you like to be part of the energy transition? Do you find it exciting how 1.8 million km of electricity grids absorb energy and bring it to the consumer? And would you like to work on solutions in the heart of Berlin?
The topic of energy grids at BDEW offers you this opportunity! The energy grids are the backbone of a climate-neutral energy system. In addition to the conversion of the electricity grids, this includes the transformation of the gas grids and the development of a hydrogen infrastructure.
Sounds exciting? Then we look forward to working with you at the earliest possible date in the Energy Networks, Regulation and Mobility business unit as a
Consultant (f/m/d) Grid connections electricity, flexibility and digitalization
In the Energy Grids, Regulation and Mobility business area, we are working together with electricity and gas grid operators on solutions to ensure that energy can continue to be reliably supplied to customers even in the face of changes in the feed-in behavior of renewable energies and new customer requirements such as e-mobility and storage.
To this end, we work closely with our member companies, which delegate long-standing experts and managers, including company executives, to the BDEW committees.
Your tasks

- Changes in generation and consumption pose major challenges for electricity grids and flexibility is becoming increasingly important. You are responsible for the use of flexibility in the low-voltage grid.
- You will also support issues relating to grid access to the gas and hydrogen grids, giving you an insight into another sector.
- In your work, you manage to understand different perspectives and unite them into a common view. You support change with empathy and good communication.
- Webinars, events, talks - you are an expert when it comes to making topics understandable and advancing the energy transition.
