Consultant (f/m/d) with a focus on the energy industry

Your tasks

  • Focus on working independently on energy industry, planning and technical topics and projects in the areas of energy industry (including renewable energies, hydrogen, storage, security of supply, regional planning, approval procedures and environmental and nature conservation)
  • Identification and processing of digitalization topics
  • Supporting and informing member companies
  • Development of technical statements, argumentation papers and industry positions in collaboration with the federal association and member companies
  • Maintaining contact with members of the state parliament, state ministries, state authorities and representatives from politics, business and other associations
  • Supporting and participating in BDEW working committees and ministries
  • Preparation and implementation of regional specialist events and exchanges of experience
  • Cooperation with market partners
  • Coordination of the national group's external communication (press, social media, events)
  • Collaborate closely with the regional group team and be willing to familiarize yourself with individual water management topics

Your profile

  • Successfully completed university degree (diploma / master's degree) in energy economics, natural sciences or engineering, energy law or comparable degree
  • Multiple years of relevant professional or industry experience in the field of energy management, additional interest in water management is a plus
  • Very good written and spoken English and experienced use of MS Office programs (primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Very good knowledge of the energy industry in combination with a technical and planning understanding
  • Good overview of complex interrelationships and processes
  • Very good oral and written communication skills and the ability to present specialist topics in a concise and comprehensible manner for the political sphere and the general public
  • Confident appearance, enjoy working independently, negotiating skills, team spirit, flexibility and a high level of commitment
