Consultant for physical security, emergency management & BCM (m/f/d)

As a transmission system operator, the topics of resilience and security are very important to Gasunie Deutschland. With the KRITIS umbrella law and the changed geopolitical situation, we are also facing new challenges.

Your tasks

  • Together with your colleagues in our “Resilience & Security” team, you will ensure the implementation of statutory requirements relating to physical security, emergency management and business continuity management (BCM). Your tasks are characterized by a high level of dynamism and close cooperation with various specialist departments.
  • In your position as a consultant for physical security, emergency management & BCM, you will make a decisive contribution to minimizing risks and thus sustainably strengthening security of supply.
  • Developing and implementing trend-setting concepts and specifications in the area of physical security, emergency management and BCM, taking into account legal requirements and standards
  • Initiating and implementing technical measures in the area of physical security in accordance with the state of the art
  • Collaboration in our expansion and conversion projects
  • Advising our specialist functions on physical security issues
  • Conducting training courses and exercises
  • Active involvement of relevant stakeholders
  • Creating acceptance for necessary measures through target group-oriented communication
  • Contact person for authorities and participation in committees and associations

Your qualifications

  • A university degree or several years of professional experience relevant to the area of responsibility
  • A keen interest in critical infrastructures and good knowledge of the technologies and measures to protect them
  • Experience in project management or in the implementation of technical or organizational measures

  • Class B driving license for driving activities in our network area (pool vehicles are available)
